As a Controls Engineer II you will contribute to the proper design of our control systems all while programming them to test and participate in debug phases as require meeting the contracted functionality of our customers system within a budget and schedule constrains all while adhering to support MIKRON goals, values and operating principles.Your profile
Additional Responsibilities- Demonstrate knowledge of MDE control system design methods
- Demonstrate knowledge of Mikron standard materials and practices
- Attend Project Design reviews
- Support Validation team to test validation package per customer’s specifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of MDE PLC programming methods for integration of machine Vision systems
- Demonstrate MDE methods for completion of the Software Design Specification
- Demonstrate knowledge of the ERP system and tracking delivery dates
- Demonstrate knowledge of the controls system assembly start package
- Complete the Software Design Specification with input from Mechanical Engineering
- Participate in debug activities on the floor, including the support of PLC Technicians assigned to the debug
- Responsible for accurately and timely generation of the Controls Engineering documentation package assigned to each customer project
