As a Vision Engineer II you are responsible for vision engineering of equipment during the design, assemble and debug phases of various projects. In addition, a Vision Engineer II would g generate quotes based on customer URS. Review customer URS to isolate all vision requirements and properly utilize and demonstrate proficiency with the vision test bench to find the most effective configurations for checks using innovative approaches. You will also review vision quotes.Education and experience:
- 5 years of experience in industrial vision
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge in vision 3D hardware and software, 2D vision understanding and optical theory
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field or 7 years of relevant working experience with clear aptitude in core skills and competencies or successfully achieved Controls Engineering Level 1 expectations
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Support Mechanical Engineers during the design process
- Generate the electrical discussion document
- Support the design of the Software Design Specification with the Controls Engineering department
- Conduct Rp3 with customers independently
- Perform setup, debug and fine tuning of vision systems
- Support mechanical Engineers & Mechanical technicians for debug modification on the production floor
- Validation support on the floor (on demand)

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:• Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
• Essential physical requirements include kneeling, standing, pulling, grasping, seeing, crouching, walking, lifting, tactile sense, hearing, stooping, reaching, pushing, repetitive motions, talking, visual acuity (depth perception and field of vision)
- Must be able to travel as requested
- Must be available to work overtime
- May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
